My Design team and I fastidiously created our
Hand-Painted Paisley's
We were ecstatic this year to discover a new French artist that inspired our Paisley prints for this collection, Watercolor Paisley & Floral Paisley:
They were so gorgeous and elegant – we decided to design them in multiple colorways to allow them to reach their full potential. Shop all of our hand-painted paisley's here.
The Classics
Our Dots & Stripes are always some of our best sellers – sometimes it's assumed that good old stripes and dots are “simple,” but I can tell you that our team toils over the creation of these prints! We talk about stripe width, dot size and of course that splash of color or twin print that makes it truly Mazu SWIM – This year COBALT and STRAWBERRY have made their debut with these prints and they're the perfect pair to these pieces!
Gingham, Gingham, Gingham!
Gingham is back baby! We played around with a few color ways and landed on this beautiful navy and turquoise combination –I found that these suits evoke a playful side of gingham and not an overly preppy feel. It’s classic, colorful and commanding – exactly what we were after!
Palms & Leaves
Our Leaf print this year has handrawn elements by one of our talented artists. The palm trend is here to stay and I love that we reinvented this year’s palm to feel delicate and ethereal – hence its name – Floating Leaf! (coming soon)
Optical Illusions...
Our Illusion print appears as just that – a very cool optical illusion – this print is A+ and screams fashion and fun while camouflaging any flaws. It’s a “must have” from this year’s collection! (coming soon)
The Tie-Dye Craze
And the pièce de résistance – OCEAN TIE DYE – our take on the classic tie dye is dreamy with our careful combination of blues, royals and navy – we also elevated this print by adding a grainy ground effect – it gives our tie dye dimension and true sophistication.
Little Black Swimsuits
Don’t forget our beautiful black solids: a black suit it always a staple in every women’s closet and we would never leave out these “go to” pieces!
Best Sellers are Back!
Check out our ALL NEW and also improved silhouettes: our best seller the GRECIAN SKATER (featured in Oprah Magazine above) and our classic SHIRRED SKATER (below) are back! We received feedback that some of the straps in our shirred skater were sliding off... so check out our new reinforced clasp:
This new & improved fixture will ensure a “stay put” strap, while also having the option of being removable! (see….we really do listen!)
New Silhouettes to Look For
Be sure to look at our NEW Grecian One Piece and Grecian Bikini Top – our Mazu ladies loved the swimdress so much, we were asked to create it as a CLASSIC one piece and bikini top……. AND WE DID! Grecian Bikini Top left, and Grecian One Piece right.

ALL NEW! Coverups & Dresses
Finally, buckle up for our 2020 Coverups! We designed an all Mazu Original Mesh Midi Cover Up Tank Dress (above) made of soft and airy mesh fabrication. It beautifully drapes over your swimsuit (and if you’re wet, the breathable mesh allows for a quick dry process!)
